Beverly Taylor
is the principal designer of Beverly Taylor Design.
Initially she graduated with a degree in
elementary education and taught school until she had her son, Kyle, and
her daughter, Lauren.
When they were in high school, she returned
to college to get her degree in interior design with a minor in fine
arts.
Beverly has a warm, straightforward personality and believes that
comfort is the essential element of a successful interior.
She encourages her clients to be true to their lifestyle. Her
design style enjoys a blend of the old and the new, layering of patterns
and textures, and incorporating interesting art and lighting.
She loves antiquing, painting, freshly-pressed bed linens, colorful
flower bouquets that include sunflowers, and laughing until she cries.
Beverly enjoys spending her time in Raleigh and at her cottage at
the beach with her husband and two dogs. |

Dina Alzoor Karame is the project designer at Beverly Taylor Design. She graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in interior design and minor in business. Coming from a Lebanese and Venezuelan family, Dina speaks Spanish and Arabic fluently. She considers herself a modern traditionalist, taking traditional designs and making them clean and relevant to today’s lifestyle. It is important to her that she works to banish the notion of design only being for the privileged – feel good design should be accessible to everyone.
She is addicted to chocolate-covered almonds, loves a neutral color
palette and believes a well-designed home is truly a person’s oasis. |
